Historical Group
The historical group of the Cavalcata dell’Assunta, with its flag wavers and drummers, carries the colors and sounds of Fermo around the world.
The Cavalcata dell’Assunta of Fermo is the oldest historical reenactment in Italy. It reproduces the procession, religious celebrations, and tournaments that have been linked since 1182 to the patronal festivities of the Assumption of Mary.
